There are many ferry services available to complete your trip to Isla Mujeres. If you choose to book your ferry trip along with your other travel plans, be sure to check and double-check your ferry service and departure times so you don't end up at the wrong dock.
There is only one ferry service that transports automobiles, so if you are planning to bring your own car or if you're driving a rental, be sure you schedule your crossing on this ferry. The various services are outlined below, along with their schedules:
Magana Express Service
Launching from Puerto Juarez, this is most commonly used method for reaching Isla Mujeres. Tickets can be purchased on board or at the reservation desk, and the crossing is 35 pesos.

Ultra Mar
The newest ferry service to the island, Ultra Mar departs from Gran Puerto, which is just a few blocks before the Puerto Juarez dock. Offering individual seating (rather than benches), the catamarans are very comfortable. Tickets are purchased at the desk and round trip tickets are available. The cost for Ultra Mar is 35 pesos.

Punta Sam Car Ferry
If you're planning to bring a vehicle to Isla Mujeres, this is your only option for getting it there. This is a slower service, taking about 45 minutes to cross. Each fare includes the driver only, and additional fares are 14 pesos. You must purchase tickets before boarding.
